Donation Day takes place on the last Thursday of each month, January through October. Please see the information below to learn how to register your drop-off.  We are unable to pick up donations, sorry for the inconvenience!

Due to limited storage space and current item needs, we are only able to accept donations listed below, shared on our social media, or approved in advance only by our Donation Coordination Advocate.  * Please note that we reserve the right to decline donations that are not included on our current needs list, were not registered through Signup Genius, or have not been pre-approved by our Donation Coordination Advocate. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to best serve our clients.

  • Cleaning supplies 
  • Detergent (laundry and dish)
  • Vacuum (working condition)
  • Trash Bags (black and white)
  • Towels and wash cloths
  • Plastic accordion folders

Food
​
​  We accept food donations on an as-needed basis and ask that all food donations be arranged in advance.​
  • Nonperishable Items: These can be registered for our monthly Donation Day drop-off or coordinated directly with our Donation Coordination Advocate by emailing [email protected].
  • Perishable Items: Due to storage and safety concerns, perishable food donations must be approved ahead of time. Please call our 24/7 hotline at 724-283-8700 to speak with an advocate about your items and to arrange a possible drop-off.​

Hygiene

 We appreciate your hygiene donations. Please make sure all hygiene products are new and sealed. We cannot accept anything that has been used or opened.

Furniture/Bedding/Appliances

We are only able to accept twin-size bedding--no other sizes, mattresses, or bed frames can be accepted. We do not accept furniture of any kind. We can accept small appliances (e.g., toasters, coffee makers), but large appliances (e.g., refrigerators, ovens) cannot be accepted.

Other

We gladly accept gift card donations. To coordinate a drop-off, please contact our Donation Coordination Advocate at [email protected].

Additional County Resources

  •  We do not accept any form of medications or drugs; please call Cranberry Township Municipal Center or your local police station if you are interested in safely disposing prescription medication.
  • We do not accept stuffed animals; please consider calling Butler County Humane Society if you are interested in donating stuffed animals.
  • We are not accepting maternity clothes at this time. If you are interested in donating maternity clothes, consider calling Catholic Charities; Pregnancy and Parenting Program.
  • If we’re currently unable to accept your donation, we truly appreciate you thinking of us. We encourage you to donate to Goodwill in Butler, as we partner with them to receive vouchers that allow our clients to shop for the items they need.
